Loch Lomond Golf Club

Loch Lomond

Overview:

The western coast of Loch Lomond is where you'll find the Loch Lomond Golf Club in Luss, Argyll & Bute, Scotland. It is regarded as one of the top private members clubs in the world, with amenities and golf to match.

The golf course, which was created by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, is among the best in the world. Golfing on the scenic banks of Loch Lomond while taking in the magnificent vistas of Ben Lomond is a must-do activity. Being one of the most elite private golf clubs in the world, receiving an invitation is not simple.

 Maintenance Work:

The Loch Lomond Golf Club is kept in the best possible condition. Not content to sit on its success or reputation, the course recently has undergone a significant renovation. The fairways have been covered in sand, and drainage, bunker liners, and irrigation have all been performed; All of which are designed to improve turf growth, by improving the drainage, and ultimately improving the playing conditions.

The architect, Tom Weiskopf, is a well-known playing professional who has won on the PGA Tour and participated in the Ryder Cup. With St. Andrews' Old Course's holes 9, 10, and 12 as his architectural muse, driveable par 4s have become his signature style. The greens on these holes are sizable and have a lot of contours. The hole basically plays like a separate par 3 if one chooses to lay up. According to Weiskopf himself, he states that he incorporates at least one into each course he develops.

 How do you join:

Simply put, you cannot unless you receive a personal invitation from the club or are put forward by several of its present members. Although the cost of equity membership is unknown, it is estimated to be in excess of £100,000 each year.
